This lovely little dish really caught my eye
So I decided to make one for myself. I didn’t have a round plate that didn’t have a groove for a cup, so I used a square plate.
Peeling the vinyl was the hardest, most painful part. Mine isn’t completely straight, and I don’t have that kind of bling :)
that looks great! i love the quote, but don't love pb, so yours is way better! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't see to find the comment button so I'm just going to reply to this (Sorry Cassie :)
DeleteFirst off, this is beautiful. I would really like to follow in your footsteps but I cannot seem to open the link you added at the end. I think the link is broken because it says the page doesn't exist. Help please! :)
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Great knock off!!
ReplyDeleteLove this Mel! Great job and it looks straight to me!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job. I love this quote and Jane Austen!

Ooh, I love pride and prejudice! This is a sweet plate! And would be a great way to hold jewelry on the dresser for me...I think I will try this! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job replicating the plate :-) I love decor items with letters or words :-) The bling on the inspiration plate is pretty fab too!
ReplyDeleteCute plate, love the saying:@)
ReplyDeleteYou and that Cricut...I love the knock off more than the original plate.
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome post, I would really love it if you linked this up to Masterpiece Monday at Boogieboard Cottage as well! Have a nice Week! Mary :O)
ReplyDeleteThe square plate looks better. I happen to be a Pottery Barn fan, so I wouldn't be saying yours is better if I didn't really think so.
ReplyDeleteThis project is awesome! I hope you submitted it to Beckie's (Infarrently Creative) Knock Off blog? And your letters don't look a bit crooked to me :)

www.simplydesigning.blogspot.com!
How much do you want for it?
ReplyDeleteDesperate husbands the world over are searching for that dish- but Pottery Barn only made 300 of them!
You could make some money!
I'm new to your site and can't find the specific instructions for how to make this plate. (And I've wanted it ever since I first saw it in the PB magazine.) Where do you describe the step-by-step process?
ReplyDeletePlease tell me how you made this, I absolutely LOVE it, but the link you posted say the page no longer exists!
ReplyDeletePlease repost the link. Also, I do not have a vinyl printer....so I will pay someone to send me these letters. Any takers? Super project!
