Pretty paper covered books

While looking for something crafty to do this morning, I went to Brown Paper Packages fabulous site and found a great tutorial on covering books, very easily, and I am all about the easy :)
I thought I was clever when I covered my books with craft paper, but they were a little boring.

I used scrap book paper that I already had, two way glue because I didn’t have two way tape, some gold distressing ink and ta da, much prettier and they inject some needed colour.

  2. Very pretty. I like to decorate with books but it's always hard for me to find just the right color. I have lots of books around here that I could cover. I have a bunch of paper to use too. Thanks for the idea.

  10. I am visiting from Hand Me Down House...and I love these books you covered!!! I am going to try this, as I love books but want them to look pretty on my bookshelves. Thanks for the inspiration!

PS: Would you mind if I used an image from this post in a post I do in the future on "pretty books"? I would link it back to your beautiful blog, of course. :) Let me know!
